Our local Delton Moose Legion has around 30 members and looking for more! This year (2026-2027) Dan Jeska is serving as president and Lamont Topp as secretary. Our mission is to unite men of the Moose to support the fraternity’s charitable causes while enjoying fun social events. Our core motto is:
“Do Some Good Thing For Someone Each Day”
We work with the Delton area Hand2Hand organization to serve a breakfast fundraiser on the first Saturday of the month to ensure no Delton school children go hungry on weekends.
Our annual dessert auction which also helps raise money for the Hand2Hand program takes place every year on the Friday before Mother’s Day. This event not only raises a LOT of money, but it very entertaining. 😀 Be sure to join us in the fun!
Our members are also active in the Valued Veterans Program where we provide financial assistance to veterans in need.
We cook steaks on Steak Night, the last Friday of the month. We go on a chartered bus trip to see the Detroit Tigers play ball every summer. And we engage in friendly competitions with our lodge's Women of the Moose.
